PearlValorant Map Guide
Pearl Map Overview
Pearl is an underwater city beneath Lisbon, Portugal, deliberately designed with zero mechanical gimmicks. No teleporters, doors, or ropes exist here, just pure geography that rewards aim, positioning, and map awareness. Rotation times between sites are among the longest in Valorant, making mid control the single most important factor in determining round outcomes.

ATTACK SIDE
Pearl is a mid-focused map. Control mid to access both sites through flanks.
A site through A Main is straightforward but heavily defended. Use full utility.
B site through B Main can be rushed. The long corridor favors coordinated pushes.
Use mid to access Art and Connector for split attacks on both sites.
DEFENSE SIDE
Mid control prevents attackers from splitting. Hold it aggressively.
A site can be anchored from Flowers. Use utility on A Main to slow pushes.
B site defenders should play for crossfires between B Main and B Hall.
Retake B from mid connector for unexpected angles on attackers.

PEARL FAQ
Pearl is considered slightly defender sided. With no unique mechanics to aid rotations and some of the longest rotation times between sites in Valorant, attackers who commit to the wrong site face significant time pressure. Defenders benefit from strong anchor positions and the ability to stack around mid.
Fade, Killjoy, and Astra are strong picks on Pearl. Fade's Haunt and Prowler clear the map's many corners efficiently. Killjoy's turret in mid provides constant information while she anchors a site, and Astra's global star placement controls Pearl's spread-out layout from anywhere. Current stats on Pearl: Fade: 54% win rate, 11.3% pick rate; Harbor: 46.8% win rate, 1.7% pick rate; Astra: 50.3% win rate, 2.4% pick rate.
Pearl has no teleporters, doors, or ropes, making geography the only factor in rotations. Mid connects both halves of the map through Art and Connector, providing the only fast route between sites. The team that controls mid dictates the pace of every round, as losing it means long and predictable rotations through the outer lanes.
