Average matchup scores between role categories. Positive values indicate an advantage for the row role against the column role.
Each cell shows how the row agent performs against the column agent. Green positive scores mean the row agent has an advantage, while red negative scores mean a disadvantage. A score of +3 means a strong counter, while -3 means strongly countered. Zero or gray means an even matchup.
A counter agent has abilities that directly negate or circumvent another agent's key strengths. For example, KAY/O's suppression disables all abilities in an area, making him a strong counter to ability-dependent agents like Reyna and Clove. The scores are based on competitive play patterns and ability interactions.
Not necessarily. Team composition, map selection, and personal skill all matter more than individual matchups. A strong counter pick only helps if you are comfortable playing that agent. Use the matchup data as one factor in your decision, not the only factor.
Scores range from -5 (hard countered) to +5 (hard counter) and are based on ability interactions, competitive win rates in head-to-head engagements, pro player analysis, and community feedback. Scores are updated each patch to reflect balance changes.
The role matchup overview shows average matchup scores between entire role categories. For example, if Initiators average +1.2 against Duelists, it means Initiators as a class tend to have a slight advantage over Duelists due to their info-gathering and disruption abilities.
Matchup scores are reviewed and updated with each major patch. The current data reflects Patch V26 Act 1, last updated 2026-02. Balance changes, new agent releases, and shifts in the competitive meta all influence score adjustments.
