How Valorant Rankings Work
Valorant uses a Ranked Rating (RR) system to place competitive players on a skill-based ladder. After placement matches, players are assigned a rank from Iron through Radiant. At Immortal and above, RR directly determines leaderboard position, with only the top 500 players per region earning the Radiant title.
Rankings shift continuously as players compete. Wins grant RR based on round differential and individual performance, while losses deduct points. The leaderboard above shows the current top players for the selected region, pulled live from Riot Games data.
Leaderboard FAQ
Each region has a maximum of 500 Radiant players at any given time. Radiant is the highest competitive rank in Valorant, reserved for the absolute top of the ranked ladder. Players must maintain their Ranked Rating (RR) to keep their spot.
Ranked Rating (RR) is the point system Valorant uses to track competitive progress. Players gain or lose RR after each ranked match based on round differential, individual performance, and whether they won or lost. At Immortal and above, RR determines exact leaderboard placement.
Players must reach at least Immortal 1 to appear on the regional leaderboard. From there, only the top 500 players per region earn the Radiant title. Climbing requires consistently winning games and accumulating Ranked Rating above the current threshold.
The Valorant ranked leaderboard is split into four competitive regions: North America (NA), Europe (EU), Asia Pacific (AP), and Korea (KR). Each region has its own independent top 500 Radiant ladder, currently tracking V26 ACT VI.
Leaderboard data refreshes approximately every 10 minutes with the latest rankings from Riot Games. Rankings can shift rapidly during peak hours as top players queue competitive matches and gain or lose RR.
