How to Compare Valorant Weapons
Damage & Range Falloff
Every weapon in Valorant has up to three damage ranges. The Vandal and Warden are the only automatic rifles that one-tap at every distance: the Vandal deals 160 headshot damage and the Warden 200, with no falloff at all. Most other weapons, including the Phantom, lose damage at longer ranges. Always check damage at the ranges you actually fight at on your favorite maps.
Fire Rate & Spray Control
A higher fire rate means more bullets downrange per second, but it also means faster recoil buildup. The Phantom's 11 rounds/s with a tighter spray pattern makes it more forgiving than the Vandal's 9.75. For SMGs, the Stinger fires at 16 rounds/s (the fastest in the game), but its accuracy drops quickly beyond close range.
Economy & Cost Efficiency
Your weapon choice affects your entire team's economy. A Spectre (1,600 credits) on a force-buy round saves 1,300 credits compared to a Vandal (2,900), which could fund utility for your teammates. Use the economy calculator alongside this tool to plan your buys.
First-Bullet Accuracy
First-bullet accuracy (measured in degrees of spread) determines how reliable your opening shot is. Lower is better. The Guardian has the tightest first-bullet accuracy among non-snipers at 0.1 degrees, while shotguns spread significantly wider. This stat matters most for players who favor tap-firing and long-range picks.
